Srinagar: The Save Sharda Committee Kashmir (SSCK) called on Dr. Jitendra Singh, MoS PMO in New Delhi on Sunday. The Committee members from Teetwal Karnah briefed the Union Minister about the developments on inauguration of Sharda Yatra Temple at LoC Teetwal Kashmir. The Committee head and founder handed over prasad and holy water of Kishenganga river of LoC.

The Committee members briefed the union minister of the recent developments at Teetwal Kashmir and apprised him of the future course of action plans. The union minister congratulated SSCK on the successful inauguration of the temple, one of the finest in recent centuries that paved the way for the reopening of Sharda Peeth in PoK. 

He also expressed his satisfaction at the way the Sharda Committee is reclaiming the lost heritage in Kashmir. It may be recalled that Sharda Yatra temple was inaugurated via live streaming by Union Home Minister Amit Shah in presence of Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha on March 22 recently. Other members of the committee included Surinder Mirza and Shrawan Pandita.
