Satej Patil takes Bharat Jodo Yatra to every nook and corner of the Kolhapur district

Mumbai: In a first of its kind initiative in the nation, Satej D Patil, President of Kolhapur District Congress Committee (KDCC), Ex State Minister of Maharashtra launched 13 high-tech “Bharat Jodo Rath” in Kolhapur district on Saturday. These raths equipped with LED Screens along with livestream facility will traverse the complete length and breadth of 1,239 villages, in addition to urban pockets such as municipal councils, and will Live stream “Bharat Jodo Yatra” which is being led by Rahul Gandhi over the next hundred days.

The Bharat Jodo Rath will be inaugurated and kick-started by senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh, in the presence of H.K. Patil, State In charge, Nana Patole, PCC President, Balasaheb Thorat, Legislative party leader of Maharashtra, Vishwajeet Kadam, Ex -State minister and all the MLAs and Party office bearers of Kolhapur District.

Satej Patil, the man behind the concept said “the initiative of ‘Bharat Jodo’ is the need of the hour and, Rahul Gandhi is doing a great work to unite India against hatred and failed economic policies. Although Rahul Gandhi cannot travel in each and every district of the nation, his message of love and unity must be spread and amplified everywhere. We are using high-end technology to spread his message across each and every household in Kolhapur District. The idea is implemented by the District Congress Committee which will take care of smooth movement of the LED rath across every taluka”.
