Mumbai: In a sharp political remark amid renewed speculation over a possible NCP merger in Maharashtra, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut alleged that recent comments on the issue reflect Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s intent.

Reacting to statements made by NCP leader Praful Patel, Raut said, “If Praful Patel is speaking, then this is Amit Shah’s wish. Amit Shah wishes that the two families should not unite under any circumstances.”
