Sanjay Raut announces Shiv Sena (UBT) will not field a candidate in the Baramati by-election.

Maharashtra: Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut on Friday made sharp allegations regarding vote theft in Maharashtra, claiming that a majority of current MLAs in the state owe their positions to manipulated or stolen votes.

Speaking to the media, Raut said: “Such people have been elected in Maharashtra of whom even people are not aware they are MLAs. They became the MLAs because of ‘vote chori.’ 90% of MLAs of Eknath Shinde, Ajit Pawar, or the BJP have become so by stealing or rigging votes…”

Raut’s remarks come amid escalating debates over the transparency and integrity of recent elections in Maharashtra, raising questions about electoral processes and accountability.
