Patna: Chaos erupted at the residence of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and former Bihar CM Rabri Devi when supporters from the Makhdoompur constituency staged a protest against sitting MLA Satish Kumar.

According to reports, the agitators entered the premises, raising slogans demanding that Satish Kumar not be granted a ticket for the upcoming state assembly elections. Protesters could be heard shouting, “Satish Kumar ko ticket nahi dena chahiye” as they voiced their strong opposition to his candidature.

Security personnel attempted to manage the situation, but the demonstrators remained inside the house, creating significant commotion.

Meanwhile, political campaigning continues across Bihar. In a rally, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav told India Today’s Maria Shakeel that he was confident about the Mahagathbandhan alliance’s chances of winning the upcoming assembly elections.

Reports indicate that voting for the new Bihar assembly is expected to take place in three phases after Chhath Pooja, between November 5 and 15, with the new assembly required to be formed by November 22.
