Actress Rajshri Deshpande has revealed that she has been diagnosed with grade 1 breast cancer. The actor, known for her powerful performances in Sacred Games, Black Warrant and Rangeen, shared the emotional news with her fans on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.
Posting a photograph from her hospital bed on Instagram, Rajshri disclosed that she was diagnosed with infiltrating ductal carcinoma (NOS), a type of grade 1 breast cancer. She also confirmed that she has already undergone surgery and is now recovering well.
‘I Finally Found the Courage to Tell My Parents’
In her heartfelt caption, Rajshri wrote, “As you’re reading this it means I’ve finally found the courage to tell my parents that I have been diagnosed by Infiltrating ductal carcinoma (NOS) a grade 1 Breast cancer. Now it’s time you all know.”
She shared that the cancer was detected early during a routine health check-up, which significantly improved her chances of treatment and recovery. The actress described the phase of multiple medical tests and surgery as a “rollercoaster ride,” but credited the love and support of her family for helping her stay strong.
Rajshri mentioned that seeing the faces of her mother and father after the surgery gave her renewed courage. “With everyone’s support I feel am ready to take on the world,” she added.
Successful Surgery and Positive Recovery
The actress further informed fans that she is recovering “beautifully” and will soon be discharged from the hospital. She expressed gratitude towards her doctor, Dr Mandar Nadkarni, for his care and expertise during the treatment.
Rajshri thanked the medical team at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital for making the journey smoother and less frightening.
“A huge thank you… your love truly is my greatest medicine. Here’s to healing, hope and all the brighter days ahead,” she wrote, ending her message on a hopeful note.
