Jaipur: Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has issued instructions for the state government to provide free accommodation, food, and medical facilities to devotees traveling from Rajasthan to the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj. The arrangements will be available at the Rajasthan Mandap to ensure a comfortable and hassle-free experience for those participating in the event.

CM Sharma emphasized the cultural importance of the Kumbh Mela, calling it a significant occasion in Indian tradition. He mentioned that the event, which is held once every 12 years, will continue until February 26. In a statement, he urged devotees to take part in key rituals, such as the royal bath on Moni Amavasya, Basant Panchami, Magh Purnima, and Mahashivratri, at the Triveni Sangam during the Maha Kumbh.

To accommodate the needs of Rajasthan residents, free housing has been arranged in 49 tents with double beds and a 30-bed dormitory at the Rajasthan Mandap. Additional services include a helpdesk, control room, and provisions for free food and medical assistance for the devotees. The state government aims to ensure that participants can experience the spiritual benefits of the Kumbh Mela without any difficulties.

Devotees can avail themselves of these services at the Rajasthan Mandap, located at Plot No. 97, Sector 7, Kailashpuri Marg, Prayagraj.
