We can understand how much pain such sisters have gone through, & we are with them, “added Mudasir Tantray. The protest march remained confined to a peaceful protest and ended peacefully.

Suhail Mir expressed deep anguish over the recent acid attack on a girl in Srinagar

Social Media Coordinator of North Kashmir Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Conference (NKJ&KPC) Suhail Mir expressed deep anguish over the recent acid attack on a girl in Srinagar.

Mir remarked, “acid attacks are “uncivilised and heartless crimes”, the perpetrators of which do not deserve any clemency. The perpetrators of this crime should be dealt with the stringent provisions of the law, they deserve capital punishment under Section 326A which sentences the perpetrator to minimum 10 Years imprisonment or Life Imprisonment”.

“Only the victim knows what she is going through and she has a life to live hereafter.  Acts like these bring shame to a civilized society and the perpetrators of such crimes deserve no mercy at all,” added Suhail Mir.
