What PM Modi Said on West Asia Conflict and India’s Security Plan

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has firmly outlined India’s position on the ongoing West Asia conflict, stressing that diplomacy and dialogue remain the only path to peace while assuring strong measures to protect national security and trade interests.

In a detailed statement, the Prime Minister said India has been consistently engaging with global leaders and urging all sides to reduce tensions and bring an end to the conflict.

India’s Clear Diplomatic Stand

Modi said India has expressed deep concern from the very beginning of the crisis and has actively used diplomatic channels to push for de-escalation. He revealed that he personally spoke to key leaders in West Asia, urging them to prioritise peace and stability.

He also strongly condemned attacks on civilians and critical infrastructure, including energy and transport systems, calling such actions unacceptable.

Strait of Hormuz and Trade Concerns

Highlighting global trade risks, Modi raised concerns over disruptions in key maritime routes like the Strait of Hormuz. He said blocking international waterways and attacking commercial vessels threatens global stability and economic security.

The Prime Minister assured that India is actively working to ensure the safe movement of Indian ships even in the current war-like conditions.

Focus on Peace and Humanity

Reiterating India’s long-standing stance, Modi said the country believes in peace and human welfare. He emphasised that war and violence are not in the interest of humanity and called for immediate efforts to resolve the conflict through dialogue.

He added that all Indian efforts are aimed at reducing tensions and achieving a peaceful resolution as soon as possible.

Security Tightened Across India

Amid the global crisis, Modi also warned that some elements may try to exploit the situation. He confirmed that all law enforcement and security agencies have been put on high alert.

Security has been strengthened across multiple fronts, including coastal areas, borders, cyber systems, and key strategic installations to prevent any potential threats.

The Prime Minister’s statement signals a balanced approach—pushing for global peace while ensuring India remains prepared and secure during uncertain times.
