Patna: In a landmark event aimed at accelerating Bihar’s development, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for infrastructure projects worth over ₹7,200 crore in Motihari district, Bihar, today. The projects cover key sectors such as railways, roads, fisheries, rural development, and information technology.
Sharing the news on social media, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar posted on X (formerly Twitter): “In the esteemed presence of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, development projects related to rail, road, fisheries, rural development, and information technology worth over ₹7,200 crore will be inaugurated and launched today in Bihar’s Motihari district as part of the vision for a Developed Bihar in a Developed India.”
The Chief Minister also highlighted that four new Amrit Bharat Express trains will be flagged off, marking a significant boost to rail connectivity and travel comfort in the region.
Welcoming the Prime Minister to Bihar, Nitish Kumar added: “On behalf of Bihar, I warmly welcome Hon’ble Prime Minister to our land. Today, you are offering a great gift to Bihar. These projects will play a vital role in accelerating the state’s development.”
Expressing gratitude, he further stated: “Heartfelt thanks and congratulations to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji for this significant initiative in Bihar’s interest. Our aim is to ensure Bihar continues to reach new heights.”
