Partial unlock in Delhi to begin from tomorrow

Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) has extended the curfew on the movement of individuals in the National Capital Territory, except for essential activities till 5 am of 7th of next month.

In an order issued yesterday evening, the DDMA said, starting from this Monday, relaxation has been given for operations of manufacturing and production units within closed premises in approved industrial areas. Additionally, it said, construction activities within their worksites will also be allowed outside the containment zones during the curfew period.

Delhi reported less than one thousand cases of the COVID-19 yesterday. The positivity rate also dipped to 1.19 per cent. Delhi government said that over 13 lakh 84 thousand people affected with Corona virus have been cured so far. In the last 24 hours, more than two thousand people recovered and one hundred 22 deaths were reported in the city.

Presently, the total number of active cases of COVID-19 in the national capital is around 13 thousand. More than 31,303 beneficiaries were vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours in Delhi. With this, more than 52 lakh 89 thousand vaccine doses have been administered so far.
