Over 193 crore 13 lakh COVID vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive. The Union Health Ministry said, over 14 lakh 39 thousand vaccine doses were administered yesterday. The Ministry said, more than 15 crore 71 lakh balance and unutilized COVID vaccine doses are also available with the States and Union Territories to be administered.
A total of two thousand 685 new COVID cases were recorded in the last 24 hours. India’s active caseload currently stands at 16 thousand 308. The recovery rate is currently at 98.75 per cent and a total of two thousand 158 COVID patients recovered in the last 24 hours. According to the Ministry, 33 deaths were reported in last 24 hours.
