Over 15 crore 68 lakh beneficiaries have been inoculated with Covid-19 vaccine jabs in the country so far. The Health and Family Welfare Ministry has informed today that over 18 lakh 26 thousand beneficiaries have been administered the doses of vaccine in the country within 24 hours.
As the country entered in the third phase of vaccination drive yesterday, a total of 86 thousand twenty three beneficiaries aged between 18 to 44 years have received their first dose across 11 States and Union Territories. On the first day of the third phase of vaccination drive, a maximum number of over 51 thousand people of Gujarat in the age group of 18 to 44 years have been administered the doses of vaccines followed by Uttar Pradesh wherein over 15 thousand received the jabs.
