Over 137 crore 67 lakh doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the country so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive. Union Health Ministry said, more than 15 lakh 82 thousand vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours. The Ministry said, 8077 COVID patients recovered during the last 24 hours and the national recovery rate stands at 98.39 per cent. Till now, more than three crores 41 lakh 87 thousand people have recovered from COVID-19.
The country reported 6563 new Covid cases in last 24 hours. Currently, India’s active caseload is around 82 thousand t. Presently the active cases constitute 0.24 per cent of the country’s total Positive Cases, which is lowest since March last year. The Ministry said, the testing capacity across the country continues to be expanded and more than 66 crore 51 lakh COVID-19 tests have been conducted so far.
