Over 130 crore 39 lakh COVID vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive. Health Ministry said, more than 80 lakh 86 thousand doses were administered in the last 24 hours. The Ministry said that a total of nine thousand 419 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours.
India’s Active caseload stands at 94 thousand 742. The active cases account for less than one per cent of total cases and is currently at 0.27 per cent, the lowest since March 2020. The recovery rate is currently at 98.36 per cent, the highest since March 2020. A total of eight thousand 251 people recovered in the last 24 hours and total recoveries touched over three crore 40 lakh and 97 thousand.
The weekly positivity rate currently stands at 0.74 per cent which is less than one per cent for the last 25 days. Daily positivity rate is at 0.73 per cent which is less than two per cent for last 66 days.
Over 65 crore 19 lakh COVID tests have been conducted in the country so far. In the last 24 hours, more than 12 lakh 89 thousand tests were conducted.
