Over 109 crore 12 lakh COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive. In the last 24 hours, more than 59 lakh eight thousand vaccine doses were administered. Over ten thousand new COVID-19 cases were reported in the last 24 hours while around 12 thousand people recovered. 332 people lost their lives during the period.
Till now, more than three crore 37 lakh people have recovered from COVID-19. Union Health Ministry said, the COVID recovery rate in the country now stands at 98.25 percent which is highest since March last year. India’s Active caseload stands at over one lakh 40 thousand which is lowest in 263 days.
Over 10 lakh 85 thousand COVID tests were conducted yesterday. So far, 61 crore 72 lakh tests have been conducted in the country.
