“No Garbage, Clean Water, Grand Preparations”: CM Rekha Gupta Reviews Chhath Puja Arrangements at Kalindi Kunj Ghat

Delhi: Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Thursday conducted a thorough inspection of Kalindi Kunj Ghat to review preparations for the upcoming Chhath Puja, praising the efforts of the administration in ensuring cleanliness and a festive atmosphere.

Speaking during the visit, CM Gupta said, “Under the current government, the way cleaning and maintenance are being carried out is remarkable. You can see that there is no garbage, no foul smell. The water is clean and beautiful, and the preparations for the festival are vibrant, organized, and grand. The government is fully alert and determined that this festival on the banks will bring a new beginning.”

Officials highlighted that special measures have been taken to maintain hygiene along the riverbanks, including regular waste collection, sanitation monitoring, and arrangements for devotees to perform rituals safely. The administration has also put in place medical assistance points, safety volunteers, and designated areas to ensure smooth conduct of the festival.
