Mumbai: “When will Chief Minister of Maharashtra Eknath Shinde or Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis go to Uttar Pradesh or Gujarat and ask people there to Dream in their states but make it true in Maharashtra?” sarcastically quipped Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) national spokesperson Clyde Crasto on Thursday.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is in Mumbai to meet bankers and leading industrialists to try and get investments for his state. Earlier too he had met the Bollywood fraternity to invite them to work from studios in Noida.

Before him Anandiben Patel, when she was the chief minister of Gujarat, had come to Mumbai asking for investments in her state and had also famously said, “Dream in Mumbai, but make it come true in Gujarat”.

As the CMs of a state in India, they can do so and it is good that they think of financial prospects for their states.

Now the question is, when will CM of Maharashtra Eknath Shinde or Dy.CM Devendra Fadnavis go to Uttar Pradesh or Gujarat and ask people there to “Dream in their states but make it true in Maharashtra in the form of investments?”.

Like these BJP CMs, they too have the right to seek financial prospects for their state and we hope they do so for the benefit of Maharashtra.
