National Immunization Day, Polio Day held at Mawar valley to drive home importance of vaccination

@JournalistAadil

Srinagar: On the occasion of National Immunization Day, Indian Army at Naugam organised an Awareness Drive to educate people of Mawar valley regarding polio immunization and importance of vaccination.

The Awareness Drive encouraged the message of the importance of getting vaccinated against the Polio disease. The vaccination ensures that an individual’s immune system becomes fortified against foreign harm causing agents.

 In a door-to-door event, the Nursing Assistants of the Naugam Army spread the message regarding polio disease and how it was eradicated from our country. Immunization is one of the most cost-effective health investments and vaccination does not require any major lifestyle change.
