National COVID-19 vaccination coverage crosses 107 crore 95 lakh mark

More than 107 crore 95 lakh COVID vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive.

Health Ministry said, more than 20 lakh 75 thousand doses were administered in the last 24 hours. The Ministry said that a total of 10 thousand 929 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours.

India’s Active caseload stands at one lakh 46 thousand 950 which is the lowest in 255 days. Active cases account for less than one per cent of total cases and is currently at 0.43 per cent, the lowest since March 2020. The recovery rate is currently at 98.23 per cent, the highest since march,2020. A total of 12 thousand 509 people recovered in the last 24 hours and total recoveries touched over three crore 37 lakh and 37 thousand.

The weekly positivity rate currently stands at 1.27 per cent which is less than two per cent for the last 43 days. Daily positivity rate is at 1.35 per cent which is less than two per cent for last 33 days.

Over 61 crore 39 lakh COVID tests have been conducted in the country so far. In the last 24 hours, more than 8 lakh 10 thousand tests were conducted.
