Mumbai: In a tragic incident on Monday morning, three passengers are feared dead and several others injured after reportedly falling from a moving suburban train between Mumbra and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), according to railway officials.
The mishap is believed to have involved passengers aboard the Pushpak Express near Mumbra railway station, though the Central Railway has yet to officially confirm the train’s identity. Eyewitnesses and preliminary reports suggest the victims were among a group travelling in overcrowded compartments when the accident occurred.
A local railway guard travelling on a Kasara-bound route first raised the alert after noticing people falling from the moving train.
