India is scaling peak after peak in its COVID-19 inoculation drive. Health Ministry said, more than 30 lakh 39 thousand vaccine doses have been administered yesterday which is the highest so far. It said, vaccination of beneficiaries above 60 years touched one crore within 15 days. More than 3 crore 29 lakh 47 thousand vaccine doses have been administered till now.
In the last 24 hours, 24 thousand 4 hundred 92 new COVID19 cases have been reported in the country. With this, the total cases have reached 1 crore 14 lakh 9 thousand 8 hundred 31. The recovery rate has reached 96.65 per cent with 20 thousand 191recoveries in the last 24 hours.
Till now, 1 crore 10 lakh 27 thousand 543 persons have recovered from Covid-19. Health Ministry said, 131 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. Death toll in the Covid-19 pandemic has reached 1 lakh 58 thousand 856. Active cases are now at 2 lakh 23 thousand 432.
