New Delhi: In a swift response to the tragic Pahalgam terror attack, the Ministry of Civil Aviation has announced the launch of special flight services for the victims and their families. Two dedicated flights will be operating daily from Srinagar to Delhi, and another two flights will connect Srinagar with Mumbai. These services aim to provide immediate assistance to the victims’ families and help the injured reach medical care or be reunited with their loved ones.
To ensure the flights remain accessible to all, the Ministry has issued clear instructions to airlines to refrain from raising fares, acknowledging the sensitivity and financial burden faced by the victims’ families during this tragic time.
The special flight arrangements are part of the government’s concerted efforts to ease the logistical challenges faced by the victims’ families.
