Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address a colossal rally on February 27 in Tamil Nadu’s Tiruppur, marking the conclusion of BJP state president K Annamalai’s En Mann (En Makkal My land My people) yatra. Annamalai’s extensive tour covering all 234 assembly constituencies in the state will culminate at Palladam Assembly constituency, where the rally will take place.

Annamalai expressed confidence that around 13 lakh people would attend the rally, emphasizing Tamil Nadu’s significant role in ensuring Modi’s return as Prime Minister.

This event is touted to be the largest public gathering organized by the BJP in Tamil Nadu, with preparations underway to accommodate a massive crowd. The venue, located at Madhapur village near Palladam, is being readied to host an estimated five lakh attendees. Overall, around 10 lakh people are expected to participate in the meeting.

The Prime Minister’s tour plan includes arriving at Coimbatore’s Sulur Airport in the afternoon on February 27, followed by a helicopter journey to Palladam. Modi is scheduled to reach Madhapur around 2:45 pm, where he will address the mega rally organized by the state BJP. Subsequently, he will depart for Madurai to participate in the ‘Digital Mobility Initiative for Automotive MSME’ program at TVS Lakshmi School.

After spending the night in Madurai, Prime Minister Modi will head to Thoothukudi on the morning of February 28 to lay the foundation stones for various projects. He will then proceed to Tirunelveli, addressing a public meeting in the south district before continuing his journey to Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

The rally in Tiruppur not only signifies the culmination of Annamalai’s statewide tour but also underscores the BJP’s growing presence and influence in Tamil Nadu’s political landscape. With Prime Minister Modi’s presence expected to galvanize supporters and rally voters, the event holds immense significance in the lead-up to the upcoming elections.
