Vaccine war between Maharashtra government and Central has led to closing of  several vaccination centers in the state. Assuring the Maharashtra government BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis said that the state will be provided again with 19 lakh vaccines in between April 9 to 12.

He even unveiled some facts about the vaccination stock which was provided to Maharashtra in a series of tweets.

He wrote, in India, three states – Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Gujarat have been given more than 1 crore vaccines. Rajasthan and Gujarat almost have the same count of population.

Maharashtra had received over 1.06 crore vaccine so was tweeted by the DGPR on April 26. Out of which 91 lakh vaccines have been used and now 15 lakh vaccines are still available. Then what is the reason to shut vaccination centers despite having stock.

He further revealed “Uttar Pradesh is the largest state and have received doses of 92 lakh vaccines. It has used 83 lakh doses and has a balance of 9 lakh vaccines.” “Haryana did not get much dose in the first pipeline. They are now receiving doses.” he added.

He said “NCP Chief Sharad Pawar discussed with Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan. The Union Health Minister informed him of the whole fact and assured him.”

“I myself spoke to the Union Health Minister. He assured that there would be no discrimination against Maharashtra and immediate supply on the basis of performance,” he added.
