Maharashtra Reports 14 New COVID-19 Cases with Confirmation of JN.1 Variant
Maharashtra has recorded 14 new cases of COVID-19, according to recent reports. The Union Ministry has officially confirmed one case of the JN.1 variant within the state. This variant, previously not detected, emerges as a progeny of the BA.2.86 strain, known as Pirola, and is not entirely new.
