Maharashtra on Friday recorded 13,840 fresh COVID-19 cases and 81 fatalities, however, no Omicron cases recorded.
27,891 patients were discharged in the day, taking the tally to 74,91,759. The recovery rate in the state is 96.26%. The case fatality rate in the state is 1.83%.
Currently, 8,52,419 people are in home quarantine and 2,396 people are in institutional quarantine.
While Mumbai recorded 847 fresh COVID-19 cases.
