Maharashtra has become the first state in India to remove mask restriction. Health Minister Rajesh Tope announced on March 31 that the mask mandate is being lifted along with other COVID-19 restrictions. Wearing of masks will be voluntary now.
The Maharashtra Chief Minister’s Office released a statement on Twitter announcing the name.
