Maharashtra government has released the new notification related to positivity rate and oxygen bed occupancy. As per the new notification Mumbai’s positivity rate is 3.79% and oxygen bed occupancy is 23.56%. Mumbai has now reached Level 1, however, BMC will decide what will remain open till what time.
Apart from this, Palghar district’s positivity rate has slightly moved up to 5.18, however, the oxygen bed occupancy is 18.24 which is lower from earlier. The positivity rate last week in Palghar was 4.43 and oxygen bed occupancy was 27.66.
Level 1: Districts with less than 5% positivity rate, where oxygen bed occupancy is less than 25%.
Level 2: Districts with less than 5% positivity rate, with oxygen bed occupancy between 25% to 40%.
Level 3: Districts should have a positivity rate between 5% to 10% or oxygen bed occupancy should be more than 40%.
Level 4: Positivity rate is between 10% and 20% or oxygen bed occupancy is more than 60%
Level 5: District would have a positivity rate of more than 20% or oxygen bed occupancy of more than 75%
