Mumbai: Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister, Eknath Shinde, has expressed his gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Indian armed forces for their stellar efforts in a recent military operation aimed at neutralizing terrorism. Speaking about the success of Operation Sindoor, Shinde praised the strength and resolve of the forces, acknowledging their critical role in avenging the lives lost to terrorism.

“I thank PM Modi and our armed forces who have done a terrific job… They have given a befitting reply to terrorists and Pakistan,” Shinde remarked, underscoring the decisive action taken against cross-border terrorism. “But I think it is a trailer, and the movie is yet to come,” he added, alluding to the ongoing efforts in the fight against terrorism.

Shinde highlighted the significance of the operation, describing it as a form of justice for the families of victims. “This operation has avenged those mothers and sisters whose ‘sindoor’ was taken away,” he said, drawing a poignant reference to the emotional and cultural losses suffered by families in the wake of terrorist attacks.

He also noted the global support for India’s stance, stating, “Countries from all over the world are supporting it… It is just the beginning. Pakistan stands nowhere before India, and if it does something, our armed forces will erase Pakistan from the world’s map.”
