In a major accident that occurred near Amravati district in Maharashtra yesterday, four persons were killed on the spot while one person succumbed to injuries in the hospital. Tavera car in which they were travelling collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction. Six persons with serious injuries were being treated in a nearby hospital. The dead include three men, a woman, and a child. Minister of state in Maharashtra cabinet Bacchu Kadu with senior police officials immediately rushed to the accident spot and hospital.
