Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray took a dig at BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis on Wednesday. Few months back Fadnavis had said that “Mee punha yaeen, Mee punha yaeen, Mee punha yaeen (I will return!)”. So today Uddhav Thackeray, in a humorous way said, “The virus too said, I will come again. And unfortunately, it has returned”.
He was talking on thanksgiving motion to the Governor’s speech.
CM also slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi, “Nobody should seek accounts of the PM Fund. They won’t answer, as much as you ask. Nobody dares to even ask. Because if they do, they are slapped with sedition charges,” he said.
He also spoke on lockdown and said, “We don’t want to do lockdown. We don’t want the livelihoods of the poor to suffer”.
“So many people are coming to take vaccines. There was some issue with the app that is teething troubles. I won’t blame the center on this. We need their help for all this. We requested permission for private hospitals which has now been given. I am sure we will give more vaccines sooner”, he concluded.
