Madni Colony, Sarnal Anantnag residents waiting for Macadamization of their road for the last 15 years

Srinagar: Residents of Madni Colony, Sarnal, K P Road in Anantnag are daily facing extreme hardships due to very bad condition of their only accessible, motorable road.

Residents while narrating their woes disclosed that they requested officials of concerned R&B division Khanabal to pay their attention towards the deteriorated condition of the said road but all in vain.

“All the year around we have to face problems due to dilapidated condition of the road but nobody is there to care for us. Our children, elderly persons every now and then get infected with various disease due to the dust coming out from the road”, said one resident.

They further disclosed that for the last 15 years every year they approach R&B Officials where they get the same response next year macadamization will get done but that next year becomes one more next year for them. The R&B division Khanabal Anantnag have fail miserably in redressal of public grievance they added.

Residents appealed to Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha to pay his attention towards the genuine grievance of the area, so that the problem gets resolved at the earliest.
