Srinagar: Director School Education, Kashmir, Dr Tasaduq Hussain paid a special visit to Handwara sub-district on Wednesday and paid a visit to Government Girls Middle School and Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Handwara. The director filled the admission form with his own hands on the prospectus and the new admissions of the children in the school. He later announced that the administration will declare Kupwara as an education district.
A grand event was also organized at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Handwara and a mega enrolment drive was inaugurated by Director School Education in which hundreds of students from various government as well as private institutions participated in said programme.
After the end of enrolment session Director Education also participated in the second session of the event. Later, the Director Education distributed prizes among the new students of the school.
During the ceremony, the Director presented awards to the best performers in NEET, JEE, NIT and ITI entrance exams while the In-charge program lecturer Mohammad Iqbal Shah was awarded the best performance certificate by the Director School Education. Kashmir Dr Tasaduq Hussain
On this occasion Chief Education Officer, Kupwara, Abdul Hameed Fani, Deputy Chief Education Officer, Kupwara, Manzoor Ahmad, Municipal Committee Chairman, Masroor Ahmed Banday, Principal Girls Higher Secondary School Handwara, National Awardee Teacher, Mohammad Iqbal Shah, and other officers of the Education department were also present.
