Congress leadership weighs options
Kalaburagi: Amid ongoing speculation over the Chief Ministerial leadership in Karnataka, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that a final decision will be taken after consultations with the party’s top leadership, including Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.
“Collective decision will be made”
Kharge emphasized that discussions are underway within the party and inputs are being taken from senior leaders before arriving at a conclusion. “The decision will be taken together with Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi… We also exchange views with other senior leaders,” he said.

Highlighting the party’s approach, Kharge said that the decision would prioritize the interests of Karnataka. “Whatever decision is taken, it will be in the interest of the state and everyone will have to support it,” he added.
