Karnataka: Bengaluru will see its Covid-19 peak around May 17

Karnataka is witnessing the highest surge of Covid cases day by day, however experts have said Bengaluru may see the flattening of curves of Covid cases only after May 17.

Karnataka is second worst-hit state after Maharashtra in the country and the number of cases recorded daily is also on second position.

According to a report in Bangalore Mirror, the Department of Computational and Data Sciences at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) has said that the active Covid-19 cases in Bengaluru will only continue to rise further over the next week.

Bengaluru will see its Covid-19 peak around May 17, predicted the experts at IISc. The esteemed institute has further said that Bengaluru by June 11, another 14,000 people may die due to Covid-19.
