Joint CP (Law and Order) Shri Vishwas Nangare Patil ji held a zoom meeting with various leaders and representatives of Trade and Industry along with DCP of all zones and Additional commissioner to discuss challenges, concerns, suggestions and difficulties in the context of on-going pandemic and lockdown.
The meeting was very well conducted and all the members present in the meeting truly appreciated the hard efforts of Mumbai Police in helping to curb the spread of second wave of corona virus. They also shared few points of their difficulties, concerns and suggestions.
Mr. Mitesh Mody – President All India Electronics Association and Hon. Secretary Chamber of Associations of Maharashtra Industry and Trade – CAMIT represented their members in the meeting. The Honbl. Joint CP was updated on difficulties in offloading Import cargos at Market Place and further despatch to essential goods manufacturers by Importers and Dealers engaged in supply of goods to medical equipments manufacturers and essential goods manufacturers. Joint CP Sir listened to this representation and instructed the concern officers to look into the matter and make proper arrangements for swift movement of goods as per prevailing law and pandemic guidelines.
