Mumbai: Union Minister and BJP National President J.P. Nadda paid a visit to the iconic Kasba Ganpati temple on Saturday, recalling the historical significance of public Ganpati celebrations initiated by Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak in 1893.
Speaking on the occasion, Nadda said that he felt privileged to have the darshan of Shri Kasba Ganpati Ji and offered prayers for the welfare and prosperity of the nation. “I prayed to Ganpati Ji for the welfare and prosperity of the country. Under the leadership of the Prime Minister, an affluent and developed India shall be formed,” he said.
