iSKATE is set to host the Special Olympics National coaching camp from November 25-29.
At least 110 athletes with intellectual disabilities from different parts of India will get together to receive coaching and will face competition on the last day of a five day National training camp in figure skating & speed skating.
The training camp was inaugurated by Harpreet Singh, Director, Special Olympics Bharat World Winter Games. Speaking on the occasion, he said,”We are happy to collaborate with Bird Group for National training camp which is an opportunity for the participants to polish and sharpen sport skills while preparing them for Special Olympics World Winter Games to be held in Sweden in 2021.”
Karan Rai, Head iSKATEsaid,”Collaborating for the national coaching camp for Special Olympics Bharatis an honour for us. We wish the athletes all the best for the upcoming World Winter games to be held in Sweden” The camp is being conducted in collaboration with Bird Group, under their CSR initiative at iSKATE ?
