Pune: Joining a growing chorus of voices across party lines, NCP (SP) MP Supriya Sule on Tuesday extended strong support to the Indian government’s action under #OperationSindoor, praising the armed forces and calling it a proud moment for the nation.

Speaking to reporters in Pune, Sule said, “This action must be welcomed. The way India is standing firm against terrorism is a matter of pride for all of us. Our Army, Air Force, and other deployed forces are a great example of our bravery.”

Operation Sindoor was launched in response to the brutal April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, targeting terror launchpads in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). The strikes reportedly caused significant damage to infrastructure used by terrorist organisations such as Jaish-e-Mohammed and Hizbul Mujahideen.

Sule expressed deep anguish over the loss of innocent lives in terror attacks, saying, “The brutal killings of families and individuals there are extremely condemnable, no matter how much we condemn it, it will never be enough. We cannot bring back the loved ones of those families, but the effort made by the Indian government to deliver justice is something I deeply appreciate…”
