Around 106 crore 18 lakh Covid vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far under nationwide vaccination drive. Health Ministry said more than 68 lakh doses were administered in the last 24 hours. The Ministry said that a total of 12 thousand 830 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours.India’s Active caseload stands at one lakh 59 thousand 272 which is the lowest in 247 days.
Active cases account for less than one per cent of total cases and is currently at 0.46 per cent , the lowest since March 2020. The recovery rate is currently at 98.20 percent. A total of 14 thousand 667 people recovered in the last 24 hours and total recoveries touched over three crore 36 lakh and 55 thousand.
The weekly positivity rate currently stands at 1.18 per cent which is less than two per cent for the last 37 days. Daily positivity rate is at 1.13 per cent which is less than two per cent for last 27 days.
Over 60 crore 83 lakh COVID tests have been conducted in the country so far. In the last 24 hours more than 11 lakh 35 thousand tests were conducted.
