Indian Army organises online interactive session for Skill Development for youth at Langate

Srinagar: With the aim to enhance and develop multiple skills in construction sector for the unemployed youth of Rajwar region and to provide them suitable employment opportunities, the Army Camp, Langate in collaboration with Healing Touch NGO organised an online interactive session for the local youth at Dahiya Hall, Army Camp, Langate on Tuesday.

The 45 local youth participated in the interactive session which was conducted by four Programme Coordinators – Professor Vasanthi from Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD), Kamal Singh and Venugopal representatives from L&T and Sabhir Ahmed, chairman of Healing Touch NGO. The programme coordinators explained the basic modalities, training session and benefits of the Skill Development courses to the youth in detail.

All the queries related to the courses and training aspects were clarified at the end of the session. The initiative was highly appreciated by the youth who expressed their willingness to join the courses.
