Indian Army in collaboration with Borderless World Foundation organised free medical camp at Kigam Handwara

Srinagar: Wherever the art of medicine is loved, there is also love for humanity, keeping this as a backdrop, Chak-Kigam Camp under the aegis of Charkut Garrison organised a medical camp at the Government High School, Kigam.

A total of 12 specialist doctors from Borderless World Foundation of Pune based NGO were pooled in for the camp to render on the spot consultation and treatment to the patients. The medical camp was organised as part of Operation Sadbhavana to treat the sick and needy from the remote areas of Kandi-Keegam bowl.

The event witnessed a footfall of 434 locals who received free consultation, check-up and medicine. Medical camp was organised to showcase humanity’s face and establish the people friendly image of the Indian Army.

On the sidelines of the medical camp an interaction with a total of 52 local influencers were called out to convey the message of mutual responsibility of peace.
