Over 50 crore ten lakh COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive. Union Health Ministry said, more than 49 lakh 55 thousand vaccine doses were administered during the last 24 hours. The recovery rate is now at 97.36 percent. More than 40 thousand COVID patients recovered in the last 24 hours. Till now, more than three crores ten lakh people have recovered from COVID-19.
In the last 24 hours, India reported over 38 thousand new cases and 617 deaths due to COVID. Testing capacity has been substantially ramped up in the country and more than 17 lakh 50 thousand tests were conducted yesterday.
