Mumbai: Launching a scathing attack on the 100th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ that was celebrated with great fanfare, Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) President Nana Patole remarking that in democracy one shouldn’t do ‘Mann ki Baat’ but ‘Janata ki Baat’.

Commenting upon the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ that completed its 100 episodes on Sunday, the MPCC president added, “but PM Modi did not mention the burning issues of the country in a single episode. Inflation, unemployment, collapsing economy, encroachment by China, sexual abuse of women wrestlers by BJP MP, 40% corrupt government in Karnataka, bank robbers, farmers, workers do not want to ‘Mann ki Baat’.

Criticizing Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’, Patole said that the people of the country are facing inflation and the economy is at an all-time low. China’s anti-India activities on the border have increased but Modi does not dare to even mention China.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s friends fled the country with crores of rupees by looting the bank but the Modi government is keeping quiet about it. Karnataka has a 40 percent commission government. There is an auction for the post of Karnataka Chief Minister but Modi is silent like ‘Mouni Baba’. Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ does not move beyond just cursing the Congress and praising himself.

However, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ministers and officials all over the country have to listen to Modi’s self-praise program unwillingly and forcefully.

Industrialist friend Adani has been given all important functions in the country. Modi put crores of rupees of the people of the country from State Bank of India (SBI) and LIC in Adani’s pockets. There is a benami investment of Rs. 20,000 crores in Adani’s companies, but Modi ji does not want to do ‘Mann ki Baat’ on it, saying, “Idhar Udhar ki na Baat karo, ye Batao Adani se Aapka Rishta hai Kya?” Such a slogan was also given by the state president of Congress.
