Gujarat Government has cancelled University and college examinations following instruction received from Union HRD Ministry. State Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama announced this in Gandhinagar this evening.
AIR correspondent reports, examinations of Gujarat Technological University – GTU and other universities and colleges in the state have been cancelled.
GTU’s examination was starting from tomorrow, while examinations of other universities and colleges were planned by the month end. Earlier, in a cabinet meeting held this morning, the State Government had decided to conduct examinations of final year students as per the schedule.
But following the instructions from the central government, all examinations have been postponed and the new dates will be issued after the guidelines from the center.
