Srinagar: In a significant moment for Jammu and Kashmir’s connectivity, National Conference chief and former J&K Chief Minister Dr. Farooq Abdullah boarded the Vande Bharat Express from Nowgam Railway Station in Srinagar to Katra, terming the high-speed train a “huge blessing” for both residents and tourists.

Speaking to reporters during the journey, Abdullah said, “I am very happy that I am travelling on this train to Katra. This is a huge blessing for us and is going to benefit tourists a lot. The two Vande Bharat Express trains running from Katra to Srinagar were flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 6.
