Mumbai – A joint delegation of the Federation of Associations of Maharashtra (FAM) and the Indian Merchants’ Chamber (IMC) today called on Sundararaman Ramamurthy, Managing Director and CEO of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), at his office in the historic BSE building.
The delegation included FAM President Jitendra Shah, Vice President Raseesh Doshi, and IMC representatives Ajit Mangalurkar and Sanjay Mehta.
During the cordial meeting, Sundararaman Ramamurthy presented Jitendra Shah with a special memento featuring the iconic BSE logo, commemorating BSE’s illustrious 150-year journey and its legacy as Asia’s oldest stock exchange.
The discussions centred on fostering closer collaboration between BSE, FAM, and IMC to bring tangible benefits to the trade and industry ecosystem. Key focus areas included enhancing awareness among stakeholders about government schemes, policies, and emerging business opportunities.
The delegation and BSE leadership agreed on the need for sustained engagement and announced plans for a joint public meeting to further this collaborative vision and outreach.
TEAM FAM expressed optimism that this partnership would strengthen support for businesses across Maharashtra and deepen industry–exchange relations.
