The Hague: The Embassy of India at The Hague celebrated the event “Kaavya Sandhya”, an evening dedicated to ‘poems’ at The Gandhi Centre, the cultural wing of ICCR on the afternoon of July 9.
The event started with the official welcome of the Indian diaspora including friends of India. The Director of Gandhi Center Shiv Mohan Singh welcomed the gathering of Kavya Sandhya.
Later on, various artists participated in the program Kavya Sandhya, an evening dedicated to poems, ghazals and geet.
The artists who represented their poems at the event namely Shiv Mohan Singh, Pushpita Awasthi, Vishwas Dubey, Ashish Kapoor, Sushant Jain, Manasi Mohril, Priyanka Sinha, Santosh Kumar, Manish Pandeya, Dr Soni Varma and Astha Dixit .
During the event there was a poems book launch “Sarhado ke Paar Sopan” book by authors Shalini Shrivastav and Vishwas Dubey. People also enjoyed an Indian feast which was arranged by Gandhi Center in the Netherlands.
