In a distressing incident that unfolded in Sector 42 of Noida, Uttar Pradesh, a highly intoxicated driver of a Hyundai Creta car collided with a group of five cows. This tragic collision led to the immediate demise of three cows and left two others critically injured, prompting immediate concern from local residents who promptly alerted the authorities.
Disturbing visuals circulated on social media, revealing the heartbreaking scene of authorities using heavy machinery, including a JCB, to handle the aftermath of the incident, which included the removal of the deceased cows.
Jeet Pal, National President of the Gau Chetna Research and Development Society Trust and a resident of Barola in Noida, has taken a proactive stance by submitting a formal complaint to the Sector 49 police station. In his complaint, he detailed an incident that occurred on a Sunday morning in Sector 42, where a black Hyundai Creta bearing registration number JH15 WY2936 recklessly struck a group of five cows while in motion. Tragically, three of the cows lost their lives on the spot, while the other two sustained severe injuries.
Jeet Pal has urged the police station to conduct a post-mortem examination of the deceased cows. It has been reported that the driver of the vehicle was under the influence of alcohol and continued to collide with the cows in a reckless manner.
During the incident, the car’s number plate broke off and remained at the scene, while the driver fled from the spot after causing the accident. Certain social media posts alleged that the vehicle involved in the collision with the cows displayed a Bihar government signboard, which dislodged during the accident.
